Pilot remote digital services
The client was eager to support its customer (B2B) with remote services as an alternative to on call engineers or site based engineers. Based on available data of the client a business model was developed and tested which offered the customer dashboards, monthly process improvements, predictive insights to the performance and errors and a reduction in safety incidents.
Assess, mediate and improve
I was hired to analyze, mediate and improve on the relationship and way of working between a client and it’s customers. Deliverables included a value tree, roadmap, KPIs and an organizational setup to ensure implementation. Within days we were able to turnaround a troublesome cooperation into a fruitful much promising young partnership.
Transition towards a platform company
The client required support and guidance how to setup, develop and pilot a platform way of working and enable standardization. The goal is to reach shorter lead times, lower cost and a higher reliability of products in the portfolio.
A new way of working has been defined including a.o. the way products will be defined including roadmaps (for sales), what should be developed (for R&D) and how we could deliver it to customers (for operations).
Develop a new service proposition
The amount of services of this client was growing year by year in a already rapidly growing organization. A global service proposition, which was fit for the future, was required to enable a standard set of services and more control on the business. Based on worldwide service expertise a framework was formulated and services were defined one by one. After the roll out the basis had been provided to enable more focus in sales and a higher quality in opertions.
Setup a strategic partnership
The client requested to facilitate the setup of a strategic partnership, in the form of a joint venture, between itself and a rapidly developing customer. Goal was to jointly develop future products and enable new technology of the client and its partners to be introduced into the sites of our customer. The client and customer came together in the form of setting joint intentions, principles, short term goals and a focus for development.
Develop key accounts for future business
A client had trouble in expanding business with potential key accounts. By revisiting the business model and proposition and facilitating conversations between the client and their key customers, the basis was strengthened for fruitful future cooperations. Based on these grounds the business of the client was developed further with the pinpointed key accounts which resulted in mutual benefits.
